San Diego Miramar College freshman outside hitter Madelyn Wutzke has been selected as the 3C2A Player of the Week after an impressive stretch of performances for the Jets.

The 6-0 El Capitan High School alum showcased her all-around game in two key matches. Against Mt. San Antonio, Wutzke tallied 21 kills and 11 digs in a hard-fought four-set battle. She followed that up with another strong outing in Miramar’s sweep over Bakersfield, posting 10 kills while passing at a 2.75 rating.

Wutzke has quickly established herself as a reliable six-rotation player, making an impact on both sides of the ball and emerging as a key contributor for the Jets early in her collegiate career.
