Bio
Lucy enters her second year as the Head Women's Water Polo Coach at Miramar College in 2024. In her first year as Head Coach in 2023, she led the Jets to their first conference championship title in program history with a 21-6 winning record, and was named PCAC Coach of the Year. Before joining the Jets, Lucy served as the Interim Head Women's Water Polo Coach at Palomar College in 2022, where she led the Comets to their third consecutive conference championship title, and was named the PCAC Coach of the Year.
In 2022, Lucy was the Assistant Coach for the Palomar men's and women's swim and dive programs, where she helped 9 swimmers and 2 divers advance to the CCCAA State Championships. Between 2018-2021, Lucy served as the Assistant Coach for the Palomar College women's water polo program, and in 2021 as Assistant Coach for the men's water polo program.
Outside of the CCCAA, Lucy coached the Oceanside High School varsity girl's water polo team to the CIF quarter finals in 2023, and to the CIF championship game in 2024, a first in school history for the lady Pirates. Between 2018-2021 she coached water polo and swim at Cathedral Catholic High School, and coached the 14u age group at Seaside Water Polo Club.
Lucy earned her Associate's Degree from Palomar College, where she competed for their women's water polo and swim teams. She transferred to California State University, Monterey Bay where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and continued her water polo career. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University.
