Men's Basketball's Markeese Williams Signs With Sonoma State

San Diego Miramar College is thrilled to announce that Markeese Williams, a standout player from our men's basketball team, has signed with Sonoma State University (SSU). As a dedicated starter for the Miramar Jets, Markeese averaged an impressive 12.0 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 3.9 APG. His dynamic play and commitment to excellence have earned him this well-deserved opportunity to continue his athletic and academic journey at the collegiate level.

Out of Helix High School in San Diego, Markeese will be joining the SSU Seawolves, a Division II team competing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). At SSU, Markeese plans to pursue a degree in business, combining his passion for athletics with a strong academic foundation. We are confident that Markeese will bring the same drive and determination to SSU that he exhibited here at Miramar.
