Barry Breaks 3pt Record!
The San Diego Miramar College basketball team held on to second place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference with a 102-54 win over Imperial Valley College on Friday night inside the JETS Fieldhouse. Sophomore guard Cameron Barry had a record setting night finishing with 41 points for the game and setting a new San Diego Miramar College three-point record.
Cameron was in the zone connecting on 11 for 19 from outside the three point line. The eleven three-pointers broke the previous record of eight held by Jelani Carr.
San Diego Miramar College is now 15-6 overall and 7-3 in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play.
The JETS will have a busy week again, playing three games in six days. The JETS play Imperial Valley College tonight (February 7) and are on the road at San Diego City College (Wednesday, 5:00 PM) and at home against Mira Costa College on Friday (February 11 at 5pm).
