Jets MBB Falls in Don Gehler Memorial Tournament Championship
Jets finish the Weekend 2-1, after late rally falls short
Jets MBB finishes as the runners–up in the Don Gehler Memorial Tournament. Miramar's rally falls short in Championship game with 1-point loss 99-98. Deion Alston (14.7 PPG) , Takoda Browne (11.7 PPG/4.7 APG/5.7 RPG) were named to the All-Tournament team. Dallas Haupt (11.7 PPG) received the Don Gehler Inspirational Award!
Deion Alston received PCAC Player of the week honors with Honorable Mention for the week!! Deion is in his first games back from an ACL tear during the 2015 Season.
Miramar has 5 players in double digit scoring (Dallas Haupt, Takoda Browne, Blake Seits(15 PPG), Chris Jones (11 PPG), Deion Alston. The Jets balance attack will be tested in tonight's match-up with Orange Coast College (2-1) . Orange Coast plays a similar style as the Jets. Tonight's game is at 5:00 PM @ Miramar College
