Miramar MVB's Kasey Clouet Signs With D-1 Long Island University
Miramar MVB sophomore Kasey Clouet has signed with new NCAA Division 1 program Long Island University, and will transfer to the Brooklyn, NY campus in time to begin the 2021-22 academic year.
A setter out of San Marcos HS in San Marcos, CA, Kasey was a part of the 2021 Jets MVB team that did not play a match this past season due to COVID-19 restrictions. As such, he transfers to LUI with a full four years of NCAA eligibility. Long Island will field its first-ever MVB team in 2022, and Clouet fills a key need for the Sharks as he'll compete for the starting setter spot.
The second consecutive transfer of a Jets MVB player to a D-1 program, Clouet continues the fulfillment of a primary goal of the Miramar MVB program, becoming the 14th player to move on from Jets MVB to a four-year university's MVB program, in the last six years. Congratulations Kasey!
