Bio

Rylee Gordillo brings over 16 years of competitive swimming experience to Miramar Community College competitive Swim Team. Rylee swam for Torrey Pines High School, where she qualified for state twice. Her outstanding performances earned her a scholarship to California State University, Fresno, where she competed at the collegiate level, specializing in distance freestyle events. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fresno State, deepening her understanding of athlete motivation, performance mindset, and team dynamics.

Throughout her swimming career, Rylee developed a deep understanding of endurance training, race strategy, and mental preparation—skills she now instills in her athletes. Her passion for the sport, combined with her firsthand experience at the highest levels of high school and collegiate competition, allows her to guide swimmers in both their technical development and competitive mindset.

As of today, in addition to being apart of the Miramar Jets, Rylee is part of the coaching staff at RSD, where she works with swimmers of all ages. RSD was Coach Rylee’s prior home club from her youth, but she has now returned to give back
