Jets Climb to #8, Set Sights on PCAC Title
Our San Diego Miramar Men's Volleyball team has been steadily climbing the ranks in the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A), recently securing the #8 spot after a commendable victory over Grossmont, who held the #10 position. Their win against Grossmont, characterized by skillful play and strategy, not only bolstered the Jets' standing but also underscored their ability to compete at a high level. They swept the match 3-0, with Noah Lim leading the way with 11 kills. Morteza Romero added 23 assists, and Jeremy Pineda was all over the court with 17 digs.
Looking ahead, all eyes are on the Jets' upcoming home match against #3 San Diego Mesa, slated as the closing game of the regular season. This match carries weight as it could determine the winner of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC). With the season series tied 1-1, and Miramar winning the last contest, fans can anticipate an intense and competitive rematch. The Jets' rise to the #8 spot adds an extra layer of anticipation to this important showdown, promising an exciting conclusion to the season.
