Bio

Kolby Bird, a native San Diegan,  played for Westview High School as their starting varsity outside hitter for three years, graduating in 2015. She followed her passion for volleyball to the University of Miami, FL for the next four years as an outside hitter as well, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Human and Social Development with a minor in Education in 2019. Now she has made her way back to San Diego, finished up her Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from Vanguard University wrapping up her volleyball career on the sand as a grad student. Now, she is on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as coaching for our Miramar Beach staff. She has had years of coaching experience through her time at the University of Miami and the Gold Medal Squared organization running camps, clinics, and leading her own high school indoor program in the fall season as well!
