Jets women's water polo goes 2-2 at Ventura Invitational

The Miramar women's water polo team went 2-2 over the weekend at the Ventura College Tournament.

On Friday, October 10th the Lady Jets played El Camino College, winning 16-5. Natalie McCann scored 8 goals, Crystal Hardwick had 4 steals, and goalie Melanie Carrillo had 3 saves.

The Jets next played Santa Barbara City College, losing 12-8. Natalie McCann scored 4 goals, Rachel Meserve had 3 steals, and goalie Darci Self had 8 saves.

On Saturday, October 11th, the Jets played Cypress College, losing a close game 8-7. Natalie McCann had 4 goals, Alicia Foresman had 3 steals, and goalie Darci Self had 9 saves.

The last game of the tournament was against Santa Monica College. The Lady Jets won 11-1. Prudence Graves had 3 goals, Kerrie Riley had 4 steals, and goalie Melanie Carrillo had 5 saves.

The Lady Jets next hit the water at home against Southwestern College on Wednesday, October 15th, with a 2:00pm start time.
