Jets WWP player Meredith Muecke was honored by the PCAC today, in its weekly Athlete of the Week announcement. Muecke was awarded Honorable Mention honors, for the week of September 11-17.

Muecke, a sophomore utility player from Scripps Ranch High School and a transfer from UC Davis, scored six goals as the Jets opened the season with two victories in the Los Angeles Valley College Mini-Tournament. She had a goal and an assist in a 7-5 win over L.A. Valley and led Miramar over Pasadena City College 11-8 with five goals and a steal.
