October 20, 2015
The Miramar women's soccer team won its sixth straight match, a 5-0 win over San Diego City.
After a Sashia Alvarez goal gave the Lady Jets a 1-0 halftime lead, two goals by Katelyn Maddow and goals by Bianca Scodellaro and Annalise Siegel extended the Jets lead. While Angie Peralta was credited with the shutout, the Jets defense was the bigger story, allowing the Knights only one shot on goal for the entire match.
Since a loss to Cypress on August 29th, the Lady Jets have gone undefeated, posting a 9-0-2 record. They have outscored their opponents 36-2 over those eleven matches.
