Womens Soccer Handles Victor Valley With Ease
Victor Valley visited Miramar College on Thursday Nov. 12th to challenge the Jets on their home turf. Victor Valley found out quickly that the Jets team is as strong as ever when Ninfa Ramirez scored The first goal of the match in the fourth minute of the game. The goal took a little steam out of the attack of Victor Valley and Miramar was stringing passes together and keeping the ball away from their opponent. The next big attack from the Jets was a pass from Ninfa to Paulina Salazar who blasted her shot past the keeper for a 2-0 Jets lead. Mercedes Kercado played a pass to Alexa Lonsdale who hit a great left footed shot into the corner of the net. Half way through the first half froshwoman Jessica Gonzalez added a goal of her own with the help of Sam Schmidt. Paulina capped off the first half scoring with the help of Sam Schmidt.
The second half started and in the first 17 minutes Alexa scored her second goal of the match. Not to be out done Ninfa scored her second goal in the 30 minute of the second half. The Jets finished off the game string passes together. The final was Miramar 7 and Victor Valley 0.
