The Miramar men?s water polo team competed in the Citrus College tournament this past weekend, where they went 1-3. Their first game was against the host team Citrus College, in which they took a tough loss (21-5) to the eventual tournament champions. The Jets' second Friday match was against Santa Ana College, with the Jets losing 16-7. Saturday would see the Jets take on Cal Tech, a four year institution, and lose in a close 10-7 battle. With some tough defeats behind them, the Jets came together to edge out Santa Monica College and get their first win 15-14.

Now 1-6 on the young season, Miramar MWP takes on Southwestern College this coming Wednesday, Sept. 17th, on the road at 3:00pm.
