After three losses to begin the season, the Miramar men's volleyball team earned the program's first ever win, a 25-20, 26-24, 20-25, 25-7 road win over L.A. Trade Tech.

After a solid first set win by Miramar, LATTC came alive and challenged the Jets before succumbing to an overscore loss in set two. LATTC parlayed its stronger play and Miramar errors into a set 3 win. A lineup change powered Miramar MVB to an 11-0 lead in set 4, before cruising to the match win.

OH Caleb Deibel led Miramar with 20 kills on .333 hitting efficiency. Zach Wissing tallied 8K (.294) in two sets as an attacker, while MB Anthony Carrasco (.375), OPP Noly Mon (.417), and OH Levi Vermeulen tallied 7 kills each. Mon's 20 digs and Wissing's 16 digs led a 62 dig defensive effort, while S Andy Ruiz tallied 52 assists on the night.

Miramar MVB closes out non-conference play, when it hosts Santa Monica College in the Hourglass Fieldhouse at 6:00pm on Friday.
