Miramar MVB's Deibel grabs All-PCAC honors
Freshman Caleb Deibel (far left, top row), in his first year of organized competitive volleyball, had his efforts in his first season for Miramar MVB recognized, as the conference coaches awarded him All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference third team honors.
An outside hitter from Spokane Falls Community College in Washington state, Deibel was the Jets' kill leader with 155 kills, despite missing two of the team's 18 matches this season. His 2.77 kills per match average is 15th best in the CCCAA. He added 89 digs, 16 total blocks, and seven aces. Deibel's 173.5 total points scored was 44 more than the next best performer on the team, again despite missing two matches.
A former tennis player from Spokane Falls CC, Deibel and his Jets teammates look forward to the 2016 season after laying the program's foundation in its inaugural season in 2015.
