Miramar WVB will also compete in the PCAC, and will compete in the conference's North division, with College of the Desert, Mira Costa, Mt. San Jacinto, Palomar, and San Bernardino Valley. PCAC-South programs Cuyamaca, Grossmont, Imperial Valley, San Diego City, San Diego Mesa, and Southwestern are also natural candidates to be on the Jets' 2018 schedule.

Second asst. coach John Landicho brings over 25 years of award-winning experience to the Jets. He was named PCAC MVB Coach of the Year and Miramar College's Coach of the Year, for his efforts in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Landicho's experience on the women's side is vast. As an assistant coach, he helped teams at Grossmont and San Diego Mesa colleges to PCAC championships in 2001 and 2010, respectively. He is best known for his work in the Francis Parker HS programs, where his last stint in 2012 and 2013 as head GVB coach produced a 64-7 record and consecutive CIF Division IV State championships.
